Join the Compassionate Communities Conversation
Compassionate Communities are everyone’s business, that’s me, you, all individuals, families, peers, neighbourhoods, workplaces, schools, health services, government, faith based, voluntary and other organisations and services. Each month the CCAus team will be having a conversation with a community champion, group or organisation who is engaging in Compassionate Communities as a practice. Our best hope is that that this will support the sharing of wisdom and foster collaborations.

CCAus will be speaking with Dr Aditi Sethi who inspired an entire community of strangers to care for Ethan Sisser in his final days. From being Ethan’s hospice doctor, she became his death doula. His friend. Ethan shared his final days with the world in the film The Last Ecstatic Days. Aditi is now a champion for community supported end-of-life care. She will join us for a conversation with CCAus Director, and palliative care physician, Dr Jo Doran.
